The Quick Brown Fox

The Quick Brown Fox is a bar on the edge of Ancoats and the Northern Quarter in Manchester. Specialising in specially selected local craft beers and natural wines – all on tap.

Drawing on the name, based on the famous pangram associated with fonts, we experimented with typography and developed a brand system build with letters, including an emoticon-style fox icon.

The space includes large typographic artwork and iconography to bring the brand to life in 3D.

The interior styling drew on the monochromatic colour palette of the brand, using a base of black and neutrals offset with lots of greenery and large potted cacti dotted around the space, with a choice of low leather sofas for loungers, round wooden tables for socialites and more intimate green booth seating on the periphery for a cosy vibe.
