Originating in Manchester in 1980, Atelier MB designed some of the city’s first post-industrial conversions and has been steadily rejuvenating buildings and sites ever since.
With a deep understanding of heritage, they believe that the retention and reuse of buildings offers the most sustainable way forward.
We approached this project with admiration for the research, craft, and skill that go into complex projects requiring considered judgement and time. To capture that spirit, we conducted workshops and interviews to better understand how the practice operates and what truly sets them apart within their field.
The result is their first strategy-led brand — a bold, confident identity supported by a flexible framework designed for use in-house. These tools have enabled the practice to grow not only through new projects but by attracting the right specialist team.
