Albert Hall is a Grade II listed former Wesleyan Chapel in the heart of Manchester city centre which was hidden away for over 40 years before being restored into a stunning music and events space.

We were tasked with redesigning Albert Hall’s website, due to be launched in December 2025. Taking it from a simple events site with little traction beyond ticketing links, we helped the team at Albert Hall develop a rich platform that properly shows off the venue and the work they do.

As part of the design we built upon their brand with new elements – ornaments based on the building’s architecture and a warm grainy texture for imagery. This is echoed through their social content and email newsletters, as well as the venue itself, ensuring a cohesive visitor experience.

We developed a robust search and filtering system, giving users the option to pinpoint specific types of events or to browse and discover events.

We developed a multimedia timeline to help show off the building’s history, sub-brand styling for their various private hire offers (weddings, corporate events and live hire) and a variety of outlets for their branded content – content-rich event pages, a powerful blog section and cross-promotion opportunities for their sister venues and F&B offers.
