NYMR wins award
The Internal Communications and Engagement Awards celebrates the most incisive thinking, creative flair and innovative approaches redefining how organisations connect with their people today. Our work on ‘Moorsline’ for North Yorkshire Moors Railway has won a Bronze in the ‘Best Internal Communications from the Transport and Logistics Sector‘ 2026 with the judges impressed by the “modernisation” of the heritage publication.
Our work with North Yorkshire Moors Railway spans across brand, strategy and marketing with a key component being the on-going work to raise their profile as a leading charity delivering conservation, job opportunities and training in the North Yorkshire area.

We completely overhauled the existing magazine, which was done in-house and contained mostly factual information regarding activties and lacked the storytelling required to further the organisation’s goals.
We transformed communications through a complete editorial and design overhaul that strengthened engagement, pride and brand connection across its community of staff and members. Combining modern A4 design, clearer storytelling, stronger fundraising calls-to-action and improved editorial processes, the refreshed publication successfully turns a traditional internal magazine into a more strategic communications platform.
