Design for place
We have over 20 years of placemaking experience, working In-house and agency with some of the most respected developers, architects and creatives in the world. Over that period we have developed placemaking strategies for Allied London, Argent, CBRE, Muse, MAG Property, British Land and Urban Splash.
We are the conduit between commercial and creative from engaging with the community, telling peoples stories, curating events or commissioning artists we bring places to life in meanwhile use or long-term place strategy.
Design with purpose
Good strategy and good design should work hand in hand, Amplifying values, connecting community, nurturing growth and creating social value through clear, effective communication. Design has the power to change and its with this purpose we commit a portion of our studio time to non-for-profits, charities and arts organisations for free.
Culture at our core
Aside from being creatives, we’re curators and audience members who work with numerous cultural/creative clients and festivals that enhance and promote the country’s cultural offer.
At our core is learning, guiding and sharing. This passion to educate has lead us to co-found Design Manchester an originative creative festival, celebrating creativity, collaboration and inclusivity in the worlds of art, design, illustration, animation and photography.
We are partners of Global VR Event Platform ‘Lost Horizon’ pushing the boundaries of live in the Metaverse. We also curate and run a real-life cultural and arts venue ‘Lost Horizon’ in Bristol.
We are brand guardians for Shangri-La, creating the vibrant, immersive environment at Glastonbury Festival. We explore powerful themes, Holding a mirror up to the masses. Creating conversations, expanding minds & opening hearts. Motivating people in politics & play.
